STAR testing

Today was the first day of our math STAR test. It was so easy! Ah well, tomorrow's going to be harder, I know it. But then again tomorrow's the last day of testing! Yay!

School went by normally, I guess. Except one thing that made me laugh a lot. xD So, we were in Mah's home economic class doing this weird trivia thing. It was a bunch of questions like how to put out a fire or how many cups are in a gallon and stuff like that. Anyway, my group's in third place, and the last question was THIRTY points. It was 'the exact wording of Sierramont's golden rule'. Of course, I didn't really expect to know since I'd never even heard the 'Golden Rule'. Well, she gave us the first few words and said it was eleven words long. Jenny writes it out (I actually do congratulate her on that), but it only comes up to nine words. And suddenly, all my years of Bible study come back to me, and I remember the rule. xD 'Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.' So thanks to me, we won the game, and lollipops. (Haha Jenny. I told you! I TOLD YOU!!!!!!!!)

GOcaloid

Wah, I haven't written anything for this blog for such a long time... I'm not sure if it's because I'm lazy or I've been busy... I guess it could be either. xD
Well, today at school was really fun. And I mean REALLY fun. Yennie, who usually wears her black-white color scheme, came today with this bright yellow and black jacket... It was a surprise, but it was such an awesome jacket! We switched jackets for the day, and it was so fun! (God, I love that jacket...) And after school right after we got out of class, we switched backpacks and P.E. bags and all that. She even wore my glasses! (Not too mention imitated my whole 'Tezuka fan-girl Squee!'...) So, as we're walking to Ruskin our friend actually comes up behind her saying, "Oh hey Allison-wait, what??" Ah, it was so funny. I even fooled my brother!!!
But I wish some of the others were here today to see that. But they're at Disneyland right now for their music... -sigh- I wish I could've gone with them.

Anyway, my friend and I created yet another music group thing. Only this isn't exactly a group since it's only the two of us. We are the GOcaloids! You know, coming from the word 'Vocaloids' and our stage names both have 'Go' in them... so yea, do you get it?

Vanishment

A new music has been formed! -drumroll- Vanishment!!!

It's just a small little singing group that I helped create with Gou, and some of you may know who that is, but others may not. Anyway, we specialize mostly in covers and karaoke and vocaloid stuff, but we do have some original songs!!!

My year's almost over...

Wow... This year has actually been one of the most interesting years of my life, and it's been my year. And I haven't stopped to think about it until it's almost over.

The year of the Rat ends January 26... and today is the 24. I have one more day to enjoy it. Hm. I wish I could turn back the clock, I really wish I could. I guess that's what happens as time passes. You're always thinking about the future, but afterwards you can only think about the past. Then when do you ever enjoy the present?

Tet Party!

We had a Tet party at Huong Dao today. It was fun. I had to go up and read the Loi Chuc Xuan... again... isn't that wonderful? -.-

We had our Banh Chung skit, and it was soo fun! I got to be the narrator, and I had to 'introduce ' the skit. It wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be. Michelle was the prettiful fairy!! The king's beard fell off. xD Oh well, it was funny. Yay for comedy skits!

Busy Weekend

So many things happening!

First of all, we had the Tet party at Giao Ly. I had to say the Loi Chuc Xuan... -sniff- I did soo horribly!! But the others did awesome with the other performances. ;D

The girls and I had practice for the Banh Chung skit that we're gonna do for scouts. I'm the narrator, Onee-chan's the king, Cutie's the fairy, Vy's the main prince, and TQ and An My are the other princes. I think it's gonna be fun. =D

Today was alright, still have a twisted ankle. Bleh....
I feel like I've been betrayed, but I'm not sure if I have..

Almost School Again...

Happy New Year everyone!

Well, it seems like school is coming. Ugh, why can't break last forever? Even summer vacation ends, though two months seems like a lot. It's not that much when you're having so much fun and can't keep track of the days.

My winter break has been pretty fun. My family went to the snow, along with Nancy's family. It was so much fun! Nancy and I dug this snow cave/tunnel, but then some kid went and broke it. Oh well. My left hand felt like it had frostbite, but I didn't have frostbite. Ironic thing is, I burned my left hand that night. First cold, then hot? Am I cursed?

Huong Dao had this gathering yesterday. It was fun. The cadettes mostly just stayed in a room to talk and eat and stuff like that. Then it was ruined by little girls and boys running through the rooms and screaming. There was no peace in there! Only peace in the beginning and the end. Me and Nancy and Truc Quan hid in the closet for like....five minutes. xD
